STOURDENE BENEFICE
The Stourdene Benefice comprises of six rural parishes in the Shipston Deanery within the Diocese of Coventry. The group consists of the parishes of Alderminster, Butlers Marston, Ettington, Halford, Pillerton and Newbold-on-Stour with Armsecote.
The Stourdene Benefice is an inclusive church committed to Christ and His word. We are dedicated to sharing the love of Christ through ministry, fellowship and worship. Our church is not just a house of worship. At its core are the members and believers that come together to practice God’s word, celebrate His love and extend His gifts to all.
Our population is mixed: it includes farmers and home-based workers, commuters and the locally employed, the unemployed and young families, the recently retired and elderly. Despite our rural location the towns of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Leamington Spa are all within a half hour drive.
